Two visits in May

With two bank holidays in May we managed two visits to The Pines during the month.

Lots of lovely walks.
The first was a circular walk from Pensarn

Afon Artro

We had the chance to look around Lord Harlech's house which is not rented out as holiday home.

Back in Porthmadog and a peep at the ceiling in an old chandlery but now a homeware store

and an ice cream to cool down.

Visit number two...

Barmouth first stop.

We love this tea shop in Dolgellau

A walk around Dinorwic Quarry and Anglesey Barracks not too far from Llanberis.

There was some filming being done so we couldn't get any closer.

A walk from Ynys on the Mawddach Ardudwy trail

Lunch in Criccieth...

The next day we visited Plas Newydd on Anglesey, a National Trust Property.

and a trip to The Transport Museum.

It was very hot when we got back in the car.

The next day we visited Powis Castle on the way home.

And look at how hot it was in the car when we got back in it!
