Christmas at The Pines
After a busy run up to Christmas Hubby and I drove down to the Pines for our first Christmas there. We have been many times between Christmas and the New Year but we decided to ring the changes this year and have the Big Day itself at our happy place. When we arrived, it was still light-just! First Job to set up our twig Christmas tree. and string up a few lights. Then have a G&T! and an After Eight. Christmas Morning was lovely and Sunny. Stocking presents opened then a walk on the beach Along the beach towards the railway crossing. Up to Llanfair and back along the top road to Harlech. Time for a coffee before preparing Christmas Dinner. It did feel kind of strange not being at home, but we enjoyed it. We did miss the cats though. It was late before we opened all our Christmas presents. I bought this lovely Owl from Hawksby's in Haworth for Hubby. Another gorgeous morning on Boxing Day. After a coffee we went to Beddgelert and walked up the river towards the Copper Mines. A ...
