A trip in May/June.
We managed a trip to the Pines in May and June during my half term holiday from school.
A trip to Borth to meet up with a friend.
It is a lovely drive there and back. Here are a few shots taken from a moving car!
The next day we visited Harlech Castle.
Lunch first at the excellent cafe there.
They had a Medieval re-enactment group there.
Then we had some face to face combat...all very entertaining.
Then it was to Criccieth for a snifter.
The next day we drove to Dolgellau
Had a lovely lunch at this great cafe.

We finished off the day at Tywyn with an ice cream!
And we finally got the blind up in the dining room area.
A lovely trip in a area I lived in for nearly twenty years. I remember the Dolgellau café when it was a marvellous everything shop.
ReplyDeleteFunny how Tylau Mair (Mary's slope or hill) has become Love Lane!!
Hi via Elderberry Rob
I know I say it every single time, but i do love seeing all your photos of such lovely places with so much character and history. Would love to be in close proximity to so many wonderful spots to visit and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteDitto Tammy@T's Daily Treasures. I would love to visit Borth. Its murals are fascinating.
