A trip in May/June.

We managed a trip to the Pines in May and June during my half term holiday from school.

A trip to Borth to meet up with a friend.

It is a lovely drive there and back. Here are a few shots taken from a moving car!

The next day we visited Harlech Castle.

Lunch first at the excellent cafe there.

They had a Medieval re-enactment group there.

Then we had some face to face combat...all very entertaining.

Then it was to Criccieth for a snifter.

The next day we drove to Dolgellau
Had a lovely lunch at this great cafe.

We finished off the day at Tywyn with an ice cream!

And we finally got the blind up in the dining room area.
The next day I was feeling a little unwell so after a walk along the beach at Llandanwg and Hubby had his usual ice cream we packed up and headed for home.

  1. A lovely trip in a area I lived in for nearly twenty years. I remember the Dolgellau café when it was a marvellous everything shop.
Funny how Tylau Mair (Mary's slope or hill) has become Love Lane!!
